General MG What wheels did I buy?

I'm a Midget owner. I bought what appeared to me to be a set of 13" Rostyles for the midget. Turns out these have a 4x4.25" bolt circle instead of the 4x4" BC of a Sprite/Midget wheel. I'm just completing a wire wheel to bolt on conversion and there went my wheel budget.

What car are these made to fit? Are they MG or something else?

Are they at all in demand? Like, could I trade them for a set of 4 or 5 of something that will fit my Midget?
On the back of the spokes it is stamped:

I see you got your question answered elsewhere. Funny, I was thinking Ford or some other brand that used those same wheels at that time -- they were quite popular.

I have read they fit Pinto, maybe that's where. Mustang II used same pattern but by then alloys were all the rage. Just go to show you, never assume.

No. Vega has same bolt circle as Midget. If they were Vega I could have used them.

I had a '72 Capri (with a 2.6l V6!) with Rostyles. Bet they shared bolt circle with the Pinto . . .

According to the internets, they do! Neither application a big market. I'm gonna be moving these around the garage for years. :sorrow:

Those are off of a Mercury Capri.I'm guessing a '74,as most
imported Ford wheels had a a dat stamped on them (4/74).The 4-4.25-
bolt circle fits most 4 lug Fords.
Paul,you might try the Capri List at yahoo groups.com to get rid
of your wheels.
