What type of SUs are these?

Hard to say, but I'd guess H2. The nut on top of the fuel bowl is 9/16. The carb opening looks to be about 2x the width of the nut. H2s are 1-1/4. H4s are 1-1/2, H6s are 1-3/4.
 
They look very old. The simple intake manifold looks like something out of an early MG.
 
Definitely H series SUs, it's hard to make a good guess of their size from the photo but probably H2s as Rlandrum said.
 
They are pre-MGA just from the tops of the float bowls and the choke levers on the underside of the carbs.
 
Where are the float bowl vents?

BTW, that nut is not 9/16", it's 1/4 Whitworth or 0.525"
