That's not an OHC engine, which has the camshaft driven by a vertical shaft runig through the dynamo in front of the cambox So not P or earlier, it's a T, I think but I'm not fluent enough to know TA from TB or TC. Not a TD.

The windscreen, being rounded, looked like the PA to me.
I have seen photos of OHV (not OHC) PA's, but not with that air cleaner.

Second thought: It doesn't look like a TC, either.

First thought: This would've had an answer by now.
WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, DAMMIT!!!

Just received an email from the owner,
he says it is a 1935 MG PA...
"TOC" you hit the nail on the head..
I have never heard of a "PA"... don't know
what that means???
I never asked him if the engine was original Roger.........

If I recall, one of the spotting features is the rounded corners of the top windscreen, amongst others.
That car hopefully was stripped of the bits by the owner before going on display, and not vandalized.

No dash or instruments whatsoever, no taillights, no spare, no tonneau, license plates, don't recall what else.

Don't see any bubbling.....little starting fluid and a hand crank and it's ready for Route 66!

If it's a PA, it's surely got undersized brakes and the wrong engine? Of course, 1935 is 75 years ago so anything might have happened twixt then and now.

Looks like it's a bit of a "bitsa" car. Mostly MG but repaired or "improved" with whatever was available at the time. Still, nice to have a a good start if they wanted to restore it.
