what type of front end is this?

Hello Everyone,
I've seen this 62 Sprite advertised for a long time. The bonnet, though, does not look the same as the usual conversion culprits. It has a ridge down the middle. Does anyone recognize it? Know what type it is? Does anyone know the car?
Sorry for the link but I couldn't figure out how to attach just one of the pictures.

Speedwell?

I thought the mouth looks a bit big for a Speedwell although there seem to be more variations to these than I thought. Could it be an Ashley front? How about a Kellison?

I agree that the mouth and the shape around it dosn't look like a speedwell
although it could have been both cut and built on to make it longer to change the shape and overall look.. The picture is not so good so I guess it's plausible but not likely although the air intake on the inside is not connected to the bottom or the mouth leaving a hole in front of it, this also speaks for that the bonnet has been altered with, doesn't it?

If you look all the way through the ~Spridget Specials~ post, you might see something (it's about 7 pages long).

....by that I mean ~ANY~ kids.

( leaves more $$$ for Spridgety bits.)

Besides, there's more than enough kids to go around.

It is a Kellison. I used to have an entire section on fiberglass variations on my web site, but never got around to resurrecting it when I redesigned the site. I'm in the process of putting it back now.

Gerard your website was new to me, awesome!

Thank you! It's been out there more than 10 years, but used to be much more extensive. I'm trying to find some time to get some of the info I had before back up.

Glad to hear you like it. I hope you'll explore it thoroughly. Suggestions welcome.
