What to put in steering idler reservoir of BN6

Gents,

which kind of liquid do I have to put in the reservoir of the steering idler of my BN6. In the Web and literature I found conflicting information: grease and same oil as in the steering box. I think it is the same oil as in the steering box and the rear axle: SAE 90 GL5. Can you confirm this? Concretely I plan to fill the reservoir of the idler with 85W-90 GL5. OK?

That is correct.

People often have problems with this type of oil leaking from the steering box and so they switch to Penrite Steering Box lube which is very thick but works well. Biggest problem is actually trying to fill the box with it as it doesn't flow very well.
