Ok! I now have the new engine running great and a few hundred miles on it. But what do you do with the extra parts? A crankshaft with a crack in it, a cylinder head with the valves eroded away and a set of 87 mm pistons and barrels. Plus other items that I won't use again but I can't bear to throw away. What can be done with them. My Wife doesn't think that the crank would look nice sitting by the fire place.

Good one, Randall! That gets him most of the way there. But, what does he do with the cylinder head?

Sell what you can, the head can still be reworked and unless the pistons and liners are beat up badly they could be reused too. I would have been glad to grab them from you a couple of weeks ago but I just installed a set in my TR4.

foot rest or door stop

Or he could give it to me. I'll make sure it gets a good home, with several others.

Dan, your wall of shame still has room, or set them in a spiecal place and they'll find your capping you lost years ago.

Remember Glen (61tr3) I still have the photos of your drive thru the cow pasture and barb wire fence....
