TR4/4A What to do?

Well Rut, this is all your fault for putting that notion in my head...

My TR3A is now listed on BaT: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1959-triumph-tr3a-18/

Not an easy decision but a practical one. Going to need a new avatar.

George,
Absolutly great presentation on BAT and I’m sorry if I had anything to do with it! The only phrase that comes to mind regarding the sale of your TR3 is “cold dead hands” and it would definitely apply to me if I was the steward of such a fine Triumph. Good luck on your sale and I hope it goes for $$$$$$$$$$$$$!
Rut, hanging his head in shame.

Just saw the forum post but I'd been following your car on BAT, although I didn't connect it with you until today. Sorry that I will not be a bidder as I already have 2 TR3s but I do hope it goes a bit higher and I'd be in the game if not already overstocked. I really liked the handstart video too. I wish you the best.
Tom

I figure that the best thing to do is to have one decent TR for each (anticipated) remaining decade of one's life: Drive one car for 10 years and wear it out, then sell it to somebody. Drive the second car for another 10 years and wear it out, then sell it to somebody. Repeat the process as long as necessary to achieve true enlightenment!

Great videos and photos of the TR3A. Hope it goes to a good home.

Mine takes more effort to start on the crank. Maybe I have less umph.

David
