What to do with a badge bar...

For almost 7 years husband has been trying to get me to put a badge bar on Agatha. And for the time whenever he would ask, I would say "Not yet." Well when he finished the garage reno he said badge bar and I was ready to say "Not yet." but this time he asked: "What do you think about me putting the badge bar over my work bench?" I replied that it would be great. When he finished he muttered something about a mural of Agatha behind the badge bar and I told him that was simply too much. I knew then that I had my birthday/christmas gift already planned for him this year. So I had a young man come in and do the wall mural. He was very generous and worked very hard and it did take him some time. Husband came off his duty tour and saw the work in progress. Well the mural was completed and husband finally hung his badge bar... He added lights which work and the overriders to make it look real. Just can't resist the urge to show it off. What do you think?

Great work!!

WOW!!!!

I had to revisit this thread to look at that again - VERY, very nice!

Got me thinking about that software that turns a photo into a "painting". You could take a picture of the front of your car, "paint" it and have a large "decal" printed. Then add the details. Should you ever move or renovate, etc. you could take it down and take it with you, etc. A way to make this more widely available.

Someone could make a business out of this.....hmmmm!

:thankyousign: For all your kind comments. Only problem is now that it looks so good I cringe when husband does his garage things. I've turned into the garage police.
