WHAT TIRES?

What are the best looking tires for a 67 AH 3000 MK111
Thanks Curt

Vredestein, Vredestein, Vredestein------Keoke--

Good, 'cause my wheels are currently in transit to Hendrix for truing and new 165 Verdesteins. Someone told me they are now from India. Well, so is my new water pump.

Someone told you wrong. They are still made in Holland. Iam looking at your tires right now and they say.. MADE IN HOLLAND.. molded into the tire sidewall.

Just out of curiosity, I bought some tyres a while ago and asked about asymetric tyres at the time, tyre shop advised that with an antiquated suspension setup as found on my car they would be of no advantage, is this so?

Keoke, What Vredestein tire and size. I now have Bridgestone P185/70HR15. Thanks Curt

I have Avon tyres (CR6ZZ 185 70's) on my BJ8 and they are really fantastic, they don't last too well but for the mileage I do that's not a problem. They're a competion based road legal tyre, very stiff side walls (which I think suit a Healey) and an old fashioned looking tread.
I've got a Mk2 Jag that had Vredesteins on when I bought it about 3 years ago, they were quite old and it was like driving on marbles, great fun but not too secure so I changed them for Avons which have transformed the car. Never driven a Healey with Vredesteins.
