What the Heck's a 'Whizzer'?

Its an antique motorcycle, that looks more like a bike with a motor attached.The one on ebay is a new version of an old bike.

The Whizzer was a motorized conversion kit that could be added to most any bycicle. They were most often mounted to Schwinn bikes IIRC because the truss frame could support the added weight.
