What the company I worked for did in WW11

I had no idea that anyone had ever fitted a cannon of this size to a Mosquito. I did, however, know about the B-25 fitted with a 75mm:

Wondering what effect that cannon had on the wooden airframe after a while? Had to be punishing.

Even the "recoilless" large bore weapons like the 105 on a Spectre slews the tail starboard a bit so the computer has to compensate and bring it back to position. The GAU-8A in the Warthog causes a slight decrease in airspeed/altitude.
