TR2/3/3A What temperature of electric fan switch do you use in your radiator?

I am thinking of getting one of the Wizard radiators with an electric fan for the TR3A. I see it comes with a bung for a temperature probe to turn the fan on. I was wondering at what temperature the fan should turn on? I do not want it running too often and I do not want it not running often enough.

depends where the temp boss is
mine is in the metal return from the bottom outlet pipe and is 88/79 c 190/174 f this suite the car well

the engine builder has the boss in the top of the rad and fitted a 92/87c 197/188f version but i think this shows a bit hot on the car temp gauge. this position is also the hottest and doesn't take into account the cooling effect of the rad.
i wanted to know it it was still over hot after the rad had played its part as there would be a difference in air flow between driving and queuing.
this is with a 4lb cap.
i use a 220w fan fitted to rad.

Slightly above the Normal Operating Temperature (NOT)...either as indicated on your dash temperature gauge or something written in the Cooling section of your manual or the Thermostat rating.

I installed the wizard with fan kit in my tr3 about 8 years ,20k miles ago.
No problems. An on/auto manual toggle hidden under my dash works well.
If I roll up to traffic I can turn it on rather than wait for the temp to rise.
I Think on was 185 and off was 175 but I just ordered their tr3 setup.
