I'll work on that sketch of the throttle linkage bracket soon and PM you when it's ready.
Today while I was playing with the front end, my husband made his own and already welded it. It aint pretty, but it'll do. Thanks anyway though.

Does it really truly matter?
If you put on one grill does that mean that you can never ever ever put on the other grill?
#2 has already been restored to my standards. #1 came with the second hood I got, and if I dont have to make it pretty, then I wont. Plus I would have to repaint my screws black, or just get new ones. (I painted the old ones silver to match #2)

Well I think this car will mostly just be for show, due to all the work thats gone into it. (wont be trailered) HOWEVER, with a 21st century paint job, modern headliner, and other upgrades, original concourse specs is no longer a rule of mine.

I think #1 is a nice look, but more importantly, what color is that? I'm planning to finish my GT6 in a shade of blue like that...

It is Mazda Aurora Blue AKA Electric Blue, Code: 34J
Its kinda expensive and has a bit of a pearl to it which gives off a purple shine depending on the light and angle.

I believe the bigger overriders were used to "hide" more of the hinge mechanism. both on the Spit and the GT6's. Bob

True. The bigger over riders should hide the bonnet hinges. The ones that came with your car I believe were for a GT6+.
Wouldnt surprise me, seems like everything weve had a problem with has been related to a previous owner thinking this was a MK2 or at least converting it to one. But I thought GT6+ had pointier bumper gaurds, and a rubber insert.
The ones currently installed are the TR4A (theyve been rechromed and inside someone carved "68 TR..." and the rest cant be read.) The ones in these pics both fit, and cover the hinge. The smaller one, if it werent chewed up looks great, but the bigger one seems to be what all the other MK1 GT6es have. Plus, I tried installing the larger one, and there were a lot of gaps. Maybe the smaller one is off a different vehicle, and if so, anyone have a clue?
