what other hobbies

flying (both for fun and to pay the bills), geneology, metal detecting, playing the drums, ham radio, building model cars, disc golf, regular golf, running, lifting weights, cooking/baking (used to be a sous chef in college), crochet (i know...weird), world traveling, sampling foreign cuisine, partying (impetuous youth), painting, porsches, mercedes, etc
 
Civil War Reenacting, model trains, collecting pocket knives, firearms, genealogy and reading.
 
put my trumpets away a few years ago....so, building my garage, working on landscaping, traveling....& GRANDSON!!

Music (guitar, bass, mandolin, vocals) is the main non-work activity. Otherwise, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycling, reading, camping, loafing...

Ok, seriously though – I play guitar and piano. I also enjoy doing home upgrade projects. Oh, and I run this web site!

Hanging out with my (huge) ~family~ while talking politics and drinking Good Beer.

Let's see, restoring antique radios, ham radio, golf, bicycling, beer making, model airplanes (static models and radio control), playing the guitar, viola, and piano, and Linux.
 
I have recently (only 7 months ago) become a runner, have done only one race so far 10k in 51 minutes 50 seconds.
Also love sailing but currently boatless.
If I won the lottery I would add travel to the list!

I call shenanigans on this. I do both of these things and you're never at any of the meetings!!!

Aside from that, I also-barely, mind you-play the guitar. I collect books and records, and am into photography as well. I've also recently become a rail geek, which gives me more things to buy books about and to photograph.
