Yes the Zed-8 is hands down a stunning piece of machinery. I didn’t mention it mainly because I’ve found other vehicles with performance equal to or better for a fraction of the cost. And IMO just as sexy & good looking.

There is a caveat to my earlier statement about the 740s. I’m not a fan of the current line up at all and actually prefer the previous E38’s (740s) 1995-2001, with the best being the 750iL’s with their V12 (326hp/361tq). The styling of the newer ones isn’t working for me and I find the gizmos (iDrive) somewhat busy & an annoying distraction.

Actually I meant the 8-Series that you had mentioned, not the Z8 in my previous statement. I do love the Z8 and can see myself owning one many years from now when they become classics.
 
I think I like the Z4 Coupe's styling the most out of the BMW Z cars.

Somehow I don't think that would be the first thing that would come into their minds. However, i do think it would be one of the top 10 comments.
 
meh... I was drivin' the rust-rat Alfa thru St. Pete and a Chevy convertible pulls beside me at a light. One of those little two passenger ones made in the mid or late '80's I believe. Two 20-something females in the thing. Passenger says loudly: "What a piece of *expletive deleted*!"

I had to look over 'n say: "Obviously madam, you'd know *expletive deleted* when you see it." as I looked down the length of their 'ride'. left 'em when the light changed. No drama, just 'quickly'.

Mindless pink blobs.

My favorite was the girl who had a problem with guys who "are all "oh my baby."" When she probably spent $700 on her purse. Vapid, shallow fools.
