What Movie Am I watching

Remember the Biblical parallels (Old Testament, New Testament, trials, temptations, the "Way to Salvation", upside-down Christmas tree, proselytizing, anti-establishment minister dies to save others, etc.) in the original Poseidon Adventure?

That added a whole new dimension to the story.

I just thought it was a great human survival flick. My favorite scene was when Mrs Rosen dove in and swam the distance to save the Preacher, only to have a heart attack after saving him. The scene where Carol Linley and Pamala Sue Martin were climbing up the ladder wasn't too shabby either (I'm so deep). Overall I thought the movie was very well cast.
