What MG is this?

OK, I'm stumped.

I was looking at the Rae Davis website today and saw this "MG" racing at Goodwood (or Silverstone....not sure which).

Davis races some of the fastest Austin A35s in the world (which is why I was looking at his site).

Anyway, this MG sure doesn't look familiar to me. Any ideas?

Doesn't appear to have been Goodwood 2010. Race results show 2 cars with number 34, but one is a Cooper Monaco, the other I don't recall, but was an all-out racecar. I do not think I've ever seen this MG either. Sorry.

Is it an MG or maybe something MG powered instead? Cool, whatever it is.....

Well done, Nial. What a neat car.

Being it was just a prototype and in the testing stage, it wasn't supposed to look like a show room queen. Adding a proper grill and bumper plus a drop of chrome here or there would make the car much more pleasing to look at. The Army drab paint doesn't do much for it either. PJ
