I had a 77 roadster that would top every one of those....I bought it for $500 just having seen the left rear tail light sticking out from a pile of junk in a garage. The rockers were absolutly gone, I mean not a trace of them left!

Did you fix it or part it?

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif Well it ran real good, and the interior cleaned up nice....So I got a set of those Stainless steel Rocker overlays, had just enough rocker left to secure them to the car and flipped it. Actually I liked the polished stainless steel look so much I put another set on one of the 78's that has perfect rockers - my theme for the blue car is the bright blue with chrome.

The rusty 77(Ziggy) as it was when we sold it:

The Blue 78 - I've literally got a pile of assecories and stuff to add to this car sitting in the basement, hopefully next summer I plan to focus some more on this car.

They SCARE me: It goes to pointing out just what a bunch of loons we really are for heaping so much time and money into forty year old English lumps of iron... And we're ~proud~ of this affliction to boot!?!

gor... I gotta find a good shrink.

Preferrably one who drives a forty year old English lump. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
