What is Your "Holy Grail"?

What's the car that you'd buy (weird cars included),
if one came along in great condition,& for a reasonable
price?
I'd be tempted by a Fiesta,R100,RX2,RX3.

There is only ONE original, and unless Jaguar closes it's doors, it won't be available.

For me???

How about a Ferrari P4... :driving:

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

Only THIS - But I'd reverse the color combo, given the choice.

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

A perfectly sorted Triumph GT6 MK II.

Cheap, beautiful, fun: the poor man's Ferrari.

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

Austin Healey 100S
Austin Healey 3000 Works Competition
Ferrari Dino 246 GTS

These always seem to be just out of my reach...

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

MG TC

Probably can't even fit in one, but for me its proportions and lines are just right.

Hardly.

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

So many cars....seems like when I find one & start spending money on it, another pops up!

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

And I'd settle for th' ones I already have to be 100% functional.

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

Probably best thing for most of us, Doc!

Re: What is Your "Holy Grail"?

Realistically speaking? A Series 1 E-type roadster or a V-8 equipped Griffith/TVR.

Fantasy? Easy. A 1965 AC Cobra 427 SC, a 1957 Jaguar XK-SS,a 1929 4.5 Liter Birkin Blower Bentley or a Healey 100S. Or, since it's my fantasy, all four.

Don't get me started on the time my father and I passed up a disassembled 100S in the mid-1980s, for $5,000. Jeez.
