What is your hobby?

Dale, I'm going to be laying down 3/4" solid oak flooring and was thinking of doing a nice inlay. Think you could give me some pointers when the time comes?

I'll be more than happy to lend an assist.
I got my stone feet wet by doing an oak inlay floor.
I've still got that old, v/ fine tooth hand saw
and use it once in a while.

3/4" is a tad thick for inlay work. I installed a solid underlayment
and as I recall I used 1/4" or 3/8" thickness oak stock.

Here's decent place to begin:

First lesson:

1. Anything inlaid cannot be accomplished in a hurry!
