Nice detailing, Mike!
Thanks!! Like I said, it's nice to have a real one around for the details!!

I'm a weather geek.
I watch it, record it, forecast it and.....chase it!
This was taken March 12th, 2006 in Springfield. An F2, right before I hid like a little girl.

Then you'd like this video that was posted a couple weeks ago. If Roy was still with us, He'd say "We need a bigger boat" R.I.P.

The tile work is exquisite! I especially like the coffee table.

I like to restore and collect classic racing bikes, especially British ones. I have restored a Carlton Catalina (ca. 1964) and have four Hetchins bikes and an Ephgrave. Below are "before" and "after" pictures of the Carlton. More here.

I like to do some bicycle touring when I can, which has not been for some time. Still, I have plans to do the California Gold Country this year; might actually happen.

Boy, those are nice!! I have an old Dunelt (with 27" rims!) in need of a total restoration that looks a lot like the Carlton above!

I like the older racing bikes.I still have my Raliegh
10 speed that I bought new in '75.
Also have a closet full of old plastic model kits (most
from the '60's & '70's),unbuilt.Not sure if I'll keep them
or sell them off.
.... And then there's the '78 Bonneville sitting in the
garage,awaiting restoration.

Here it is- since this picture, I've fabricated a fiberglass cover for the tank to mimic the tank on a 1919 Excelsior. I have also lowered the seat so the tank cover lines flow to the seat. I have also removed the upside down handle bars and fabricated bars that go straight out and turn down like a mid teens Indian board track racer. I need the weather to warm so I can paint and complete the thing, but in the mean time, I am exploring new wheels with drum brakes and a chopped rear fender. I already have completely white tires to put on when it is completed.

Hi Russ,
Hard to tell, I'd guess 25ft. Dale's our local boating expert, maybe he can through in an educated guesstimate.

P.S. thanks

ow, LOTS of pretty work and interesting stuff here. I've been in and out of RC planes (gliders and powered) 2 or 3 times. And been through several periods of being a decent tennis player. Road cylist for a couple of years. But for the past 10-12 years I've taken to sailing very small "boats"

I've been kite boarding for a number years also but don't have any pics of that.

I just sold a 1950's style Girls Monarch Bicycle. Actaully, I sold all the pieces as the buyer did not want the frame. So, I disassembled it and shipped it off.

Well, technically cars are my hobby.

But when I'm not under the hood I'm caving (spelunking), camping, hiking, playing football(soccer) collecting punk vinyl, and doing my "Honey-Do list"

dang, that reminds me.... That honey-do list didn't get finished over the weekend... sigh...

Too many hobbies here...aside from the MG:

Ham radio - going on my 26th year, only recently started to go for any awards. Have "worked all states" (WAS) with a mix of data and CW (code), close to WAS on teletype-only. 60 countries confirmed.

My station, and office:

Then there's flying, for fun, not as often as I'd like...full scale and R/C,

And photography, another combined hobby/business-

Over the past couple of years me and my girlfriend have become Disney enthusiasts. We go down there a couple times a year...

Other than LBCs what kind of hobbies do our members
enjoy for fun and relaxation. Post some photo examples
if you have them!!

Mine are tarpon fishing and stone/tile cutting and carving.
All over my house are my DIY stone and tile projects.
Dining room and second level floors with living room coffee
table.

Great thread Dale, and great art work as well. I am in awe of the many talents within this group. Sorry I missed this topic when it was most active, but I was out of contact with the internet last week.

I too have many hobbies from reading, history, photography, choral singing choral singing, collecting too much stuff (like car model kits, matchbooks, and local school yearbooks), travel with my wife Peg, and my slot cars my slot cars. Right now one of my slot car models is the Car of the Month at a HO slot car group.

I am definitely enjoying my second childhood!

Oooo afx. One of my favorites. I've got an old Sterling Moss kit in the attic that needs some dusting off. I just got rid of a Halicrafters radio that picked up all these odd stations. Japanese, German. Thought I was in the big one for a little while there.

Dave, what scale is that beautiful track??

Never mind, me bad!! Checked out your links and found the answer!!
COOL STUFF!!!
