I don't see the Time Machine by HG Wells
with Rod Taylor from 1960
with the Eloi and the
Morlocks

On a serious note. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
The movie sucked, but the book was GREAT, goes along with
So Long and Thanks for all the Fish.

Oh yea! Time Machine! That was one of my all-time favorites! Those talking rings were not far off from today's DVD!

And let's be honest - Weena wasn't too hard on the eyes!

I own a copy of "The Fifth Element" for some odd reason. :smirk:

Um, because you're a Chris Tucker and Bruce Willis fan???

Well if we're including nuclear war stuff then I'll nominate On The Beach, 1959. Creepy movie. Based on a Nevil Shute novel, who incidentally was an MG owner back in the 30's.

But seriously, Independence Day? If you're going for an alien invasion movie then at least go for Battle LA! It's what Independence Day should have been.

The Matrix. Everything a man needs: defiance against the system, fully automatic weapons and a hot chic in a leather cat suit.

Wow, I was wondering if anyone would mention
1950's
ATTACK of the 50 foot Woman!

I knew the Alien (Mike Ross, he was also the Bartender)
