TR6 what is TR6 hard top worth?

Spring cleaning time in the shop.

We have an old hard top for a TR6. It has a sunroof, so I assume it's not factory. Solid, glass intact, but needs paint. I'm sure it will need a new headliner and seals.

It might be one of those "worth whatever someone is willing to pay" things, but I don't want to get robbed, either. Does anyone still even make them?

Thoughts? I would have to dig it out to even take photos, so the responses here will determine whether or not I make the effort to sell it.
 
Condition is going to determine the value. That, and what you said, "worth whatever someone is willing to pay".
 
I paid $700 for mine and it was intact with all glass and chrome. It sat in a garage attic for over 25 years completely dry and safe. One dented molding, BUT....there was absolutely no rust at all. A few dents in the sheet metal but no rust.

It is now painted and awaiting a new headliner before the glass and moldings go back on and it comes home.

Oddly, the top was an original black and there were never any black TR6's, except for the police cars used in London in the 70's and they only had black tops.

Well, I'm way beyond that, so here it is today. It will probably never be worth what I have in it now, except to me or maybe another Mimosa TR6 owner who wants a pristine top.

I'm debating picking a fiberglass one up for under $200 tomorrow, not mint but OK for a driver.

Let's see some pictures of what you are working on if you get a chance!
