Just opened my door seal kit for the 3A and don't know what this seal is for. Figured the other out but this stumps me.

Looks like the A post seal. The fabric edge is glued to the metal and runs from the bottom of the A post all the way up to the side of the dash. If it is shorter, it is for the b post and sits behind the edge of the finishing panel.

Currently on my B post there is a bead with leather around it stapled into the B post pic 1. The other pic is a seal in the kit that said back door seal. Does that get glued to the be post? Pic 2

Then the leather/vinyl piece is wrong. The cloth covered piece you pictured should be installed in its place. It should also be on the front edge of the door opening.

Where did you get your kit? & how is the quality?

my '60 TR3A has no seals & the doors tend to rattle.
 
You can get the rubber and draught seal from TRF. I think Moss has them as well but many people have mentioned Moss's poor offerings in the rubber seal department.
 
The kit did come from TRF. The piece that looks like the spare tire cover seal "I thought the same thing" is listed as the rear door seal. It is only 12" long. Seems to me I've seen cars that had seals glued to the B post before. That would seal the door up nicely. As far as the draught seal I had to look that one up and found it is the British spelling of draft. I didn't think it was designed to do much more than that.
Anyone have a pic of the rear draught seal? As far as the quality it seems fine. TRF's rubber parts are of better quality.
 
The draught seal goes where you have the leather seal stapled to your B post. Some parts diagrams show a rubber seal glued to the rear vertical edge of the door as well as having this draught seal on the body of the car.

Anyone got a complete diagram of where & how to install these seals?( or detailed pics of your seals?)
also what about the V clips? Which rubber strip & how to attach?
i got the TRF kit. But no instructions.

The rubber seal is the same as came in my kit from TRF and it is glued to the back of the door and seals the door to the b piller. When you shut the door it gets smashed together to form a seal and stop door rattle.
 
A little more info regarding these TRF door seals:
the quality is good., but the main seal on the bottom of the door is wrong.
i clipped on the lower door seal, passenger side. It is the long wedge shaped piece with a channeled ridged back.
spent a lot of time getting it just right, Only to find the door will not close.

so I did a thread search & found the identical problem discussed back in 6/2011, here is a comment by CJD (John):

Got the doors put on yesterday, and Don is 100% correct. The new lower seals are a waste of time. Just for my own edification I tried the doors with the lower seals, frontways...backways...and even shortened them. The doors absolutely will not shut with the lower seal installed. I even tried forcing them closed, to the point of almost bending the doors. No luck, at least with the seals I got...
