What is that on the page header?

I know this is really trivial, but what is that gold/black object under the chequered flag on the left side of the page header? I just can't figure it out.
 
I've wondered that myself.

Race track?

Island?

Flux capacitor?
 
hmmm - looks amazingly like the silhouette of a guy on a racing cycle, leaning into a left turn ...

Obviously a phantom - of a Triumph motorcycle?

I think it's the front (or back) profile of a motorcycle rider leaning into a turn.

I've always assumed it was the outline of a racetrack

I have a Union Flag, not chequered, at the top of my page.

Nial, you must not be using the default "theme" otherwise you would be seeing that same on all the forum pages. And yes, it is a silhouette of a motorcycle racer leaning into a turn. One of these days I hope to devise a new header image. That one is from a standard web template that I modified to make it look a bit more British. Originally the image had some rice-burner where you now see the Triumph.

Correct. I'm using "Old English" style.

the left half is a profile of pigs head while eating something off the ground, the right half is the profile of a monkey scratching his right cheek head slightly down and wearing a hat you can actually see his eyes nose, mouth and right paw. im not kidding, take another close look at it. while your checking that out im going upstairs for my meds.
 
We're not taslking about that. We're talkling about the rock looking thing that looks like it just broke through a window. He said black and gold, not red and white.
