I'm new here but Basil refered to it as Little British Car in his introductory email after I registered.

What is "LBC"

I am not sure what the Acronym LBC stands for.

Is it Little British Car or

Leyland British Car or

Likeable British Car ?

Can someone out there clarify this ?

In 1984 I was in Abingdon and picked up a brick from a part of the factory that was being torn down. The top of the brick has the letters LBC. I was told that "LBC" stood for London Brick Company. I don't know if that is true, but that is what I tell people when they look at the brick and ask.
