I am reassembling my doors - so far so good. In my baf O goodies, there is a "bolt" - it is 1 1/2" long of which 1" is a steel cylinder with a welded nut at the end. The last 1/2" (same end as the nut) is threaded with a nut on it.

It looks like part #26 I think. Unfortunately #26 doesn't have a description. I can post a picture later, but for now, any ideas?

while I'm on the subject of doors, the bottom "bump stop?" part # 30 is rusted and it seems to be a moisture catcher. I'm trying to think of something cheap easy and rubber to go to the dollar store to get - anyone have any ideas?

It's been a while since I had my doors apart, but I think what you have is the spacer bolt for mounting the lower part of the vent window frame/ door glass guide. Should bolt through the inner door skin into the welded nut and bolt to the vent window post with the threaded end and nut, or perhaps turn that around, but I believe that the nut end goes towards the inner door skin for better clearance with the door panel.

26 is definetly as mentioned part of the vent window assembly. As for 30 mine still has the original pad on top of it, I take it, it is to keep the window from bottoming out so that pad needs to be in place to cushion everything. I sparayed it good with rust proofer then painted it. I was surpised that I did not have much rust in the area so the weep holes must have done their job over the years, or lucky.

Those felt pads do attract rust. I have just eliminated them and never had any window problems. The mechanism stops before the window hits the bottom.
Get rid of the felt.

I wondered about that - I thought maybe a door stop or some other piece of rubber but nothing is even better
