What is going on with B's lately?

Hahahaha. Jeebs.

I kinda like the flames and the moonies, but what I really love is....

He still has on the rubber bumpers!

I also like flames - but on a '32 Ford. Sorry just can't see them on a B.

Bruce

And the moons HAVE TO GO!! Only on a '50 Merc.

Bruce

eh... the least he could have done after putting flames and moonies on it was to lower the thing.... *see huge gap between front wings and tires*

Personal favorite is the air filter held in place by twin zip-ties!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Hicksville"?

Is there really somewhere the locals are happy to call "Hicksville"?

I thought it was an urbanite conceit like Lil' Abner, Daisy Mae and Dogpatch.....

Actually, Hicksville is on Long Island ( Lawnguyland ). At least the Hicksville I know is. It was, strangely enough, the home of several industrial equipment manufacturers . This was circa 1982, so I'm not sure what it's like now.

You are correct. Hicksville Long Island is the place. It's a couple towns over. I know the seller and he's a good bloke. Totally MG nuts. He drive's all over the country in his MG's to all the events and is a high up in the MG club here. He is the type of guy that helps anyone out when they are in need. He's got a bit of a sense of humor and you gotta know him to understand the flames.

well then... in that case... I think i may be able to understand the flames if they're in jest... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

ARGHHHHHHHHHH! MY EYES, MY EYES!

Sent the pic to our newsletter with the caption, "Don't try this at home."

There really is a Hicksville James. But can you believe it? It's in NY state. LOL Jack
