No captive nuts AFAIK. Looking at the parts manual, it appears that some cars had clip nuts and ACME threaded screws, while others just had bolts & nuts. Mine have only had bolts & nuts, but I was certainly not the first to remove the apron so that doesn't prove much. I assume the clip nuts would have gone on the apron panel, but again I don't know.Adrio said:Are there captive nuts behind the inner fender or is it a straight nut and bolt?
