I think that looks pretty darn good other than the small lower patch for a original car.

So there looks to be a lip at the very bottom that kicks out. Does that rest on the end of the floor board? Would the correct order be replacing the floorboard then welding the bulkhead repair section in?
BTW - those are some very nice looking TR3 guys!

On the two pictures angelfj posted, could someone tell me what the two holes that are below the over rider attachment point are each for. I am in the process of painting and repairing my engine bay and those tow holes were not used when I took the apron off, but I suspect they should have been.

tdskip - That lip you see in other photos was only on TR3As after TS 60000 and on TR3Bs. Yours should be down that slope and the excess should form a flange backwards under the floor pan. If you're buying new floor pans, you will find them too long at the front for you early TR3A because the floor pans anre made for the later TR3As. So if you are changing your floor pans, you will find you will have to trim off the front "lip" area (about 1" across the front edge of your pans so the sloped wall of the foot-well can form a flange backwards under the floor.

Thanks Randall. My apron only has one of those tabs with the hole in it (the left most one in that picture. I guess I will weld some on before I reassemble since e I will be painting the inside. Are there captive nuts behind the inner fender or is it a straight nut and bolt?

Thanks guys - this is a big help. Having the bulkhead flange backwards and meet up with the bottom of the floor board (if I'm understanding you correctly Don) will make this a pretty straight forward repair I think.

No captive nuts AFAIK. Looking at the parts manual, it appears that some cars had clip nuts and ACME threaded screws, while others just had bolts & nuts. Mine have only had bolts & nuts, but I was certainly not the first to remove the apron so that doesn't prove much. I assume the clip nuts would have gone on the apron panel, but again I don't know.Adrio said:
