the posts and enclosed areas to prevent rust or stop rust. I have looked all over and see nothing.

Jack, I don't think the Bugeyes ever got any rust preventative in the A posts, or inside the sills. I've never found any in any car I've ever done.
Waxoyl kits are readily available to do your own, or there are many other products out there that will fill the bill. 3M makes some good stuff. I've used their Rust Fighter-I in the past. (3M part # 08892) It is an amber color, much like the color of Waxoyl, but dries to a tarlike consistency. It comes in an aerosol, but I don't know if it is packaged in other ways.

My goodness, lots of solutions fast. Nice indeed and thanks.

Think, if all goes well I have selected by bugeye for a mid Jan pickup. Jolly says no rust but one damaged a frame. I plan to keep it without rust to the best of my ability.

Anyway, as I have done this before I have been thinking hard about solutions to problems that I have had, hence the questions. It has been a long time since I have built a Bugeye and I am sure there are many new products and ideas.
Anything over 50 years old is worth takeing care of including me, hehe.

Jack, I raced a Bugeye until an incident with it in '98, involving some low level aerobatics. (When attempting a snap roll, it is always a good idea to have sufficient altitude.) I've been involved with the little beasties since the late '60's, and still keep up with the latest advances and availability of "stuff." I've currently got 5 good candidates for restoration, but 4 of them are in California. Makes it hard to work on them long distance.
Keep the questions and answers coming!
Incidentally, got my first British car in '66, during my first hitch in the USAF, so we have something else in common.
