I'd install a spark plug wire just for the next person who does an oil change.
Once, when a vacuum test port bolt on the intake manifold came out of my Spitfire while on the road (and the car was running horrible) I did a MacGiver by duct taping a quarter over the hole. Wasn't pretty but it got me home.
