As was on the TR4A IRS;

Once removed;

It looked OK from the top, but check out those cracks...

And of course once removed I noticed grime and oily dirt on the mounting cross section, so I cleaned it off, and then I noticed some bare paint, so I had to clean and prep that for paint, and then.....

New one goes in today, maybe it will last longer than 40 years ;-)

That makes me laugh. When I pulled the rear mount off my TR4 last year, the mount didn't have any rubber in it anymore! I couldn't believe it, I never had any noticeable movement in the drivetrain as I would have suspected.

Hi Randy - this all makes me curious as to what she is going to drive like with all the mounts and bushings being intact. My only reference point on a TR4 is the clapped out other one I have and she was all over the place. :smile:
