What could have been.......

I remeber in '84 a real 427 Cobra for $125,000. Which to me at the time. was like 125 million now.

Had enough yet? I hear the sound of grown men sobbing.

Especially on the 300SL!

A friend had one. He had a picture taken over his shoulder of the odo turning 100,000 miles at 100 mph.

And Mary of Peter, Paul, and You know who sitting on the back of his Triump TR120 TT.

I've sat my buns in a MB 300SL once. Local collector had it for years (mighta been that on in R&T for $2500) Anyway, I was at his garage to pick up another car to take to our shop, and he had the gullwing prepped for fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger to come and look at. I got to try it on first.... Nice!!!
