What color yellow for fan?

Have stripped the engine fan for my 1969 MGB Roadster and am wondering if there is a correct color yellow to paint the fan? The last owner painted it and the air filter covers a bright orange.

I think it was called "Safety Yellow" or something like that.

I painted mine "school bus yellow". It's a common Duplicolor paint available at most autoparts stores. It's pretty close to the original.

In addition to the school bus yellow, some fans were black. Yellow was added as a safety factor.

According to the Moss catalog, pg 63, The engine cooling fan and pulley should be painted Sunburst Yellow, Rustoleum #7747.

It's now a bright school bus yellow. Quite nice looking, actually. That's one more part stripped, repainted, and in the done box.
