I just repoed a 1994 GMC Suburbaban,with every option
known to man- 3/4 ton,dual air/heat,auto ,ps,pw,a/c,lift-
kit,multi-disc CD,etc,etc,etc...
It has 187,000 miles on it,needs some work, what can
I get out of this thing?

- Doug

I dunno, but sell it quick before fuel prices get any higher!

Decided to pull it back, eh Doug!
Cut your losses on it

Just got back from dmv - $216 in back fees!I've got a little bit of
work to do to get it presentable, but I've got to limit what I spend.
I check KBB,& it shows it around $4800 in "Fair" condition,so I'm
hoping to get close to $2500 out of it.

If you do not have a pulling vehicle, keep it. If you do, flog it in the central valley.

I've got the '60 Chevy 1 ton panel truck for towing,
& I have the '94 Dakota.
The GMC is a great towing vehicle, but a waste of time
to use as a daily driver.
KBB shows $4900 in "Fair" condition.

Back in the 20's, General Misunderstanding (errrr.....I mean "Motors") started developing a line of trucks.
Hadn't been out long, so really didn't have a proper name for the line.

So, once again, one of these new trucks breaks down at the side of the road, and a helpful lad in a 1923 Ford Model "T" stops to ask if the driver needed any help.

"Nope", says he, is a statement to be oft repeated by drivers of these trucks, "Gotta Mechanic Coming".

And the name stuck.
To this day.

$5K sounds high to me.

For a 94, I agree, $5,000 seems a little too high, but then again, you never know, someone just might want/need it bad enough to pay it. PJ
