What brand of antifreeze do you use?

Of course, nothin' but the best for the LBC, so I'm wondering what brand of antifreeze do you all use in your Spridget?

I'm changing hoses this weekend and will flush the system and refill, just wonderin' . . .

What ever is on sale when I go to buy it.
I think the USA is down to 1 antifreeze manufacturer now since Zerox burned down some years back.
So you get Prestone or Prestone in a Pepboys jug.
I may be wrong on who is left making the stuff but I never have any troubles with the store brand.
I do change it every 2 years.

Yup, same here. E-Glycol is e-glycol. I'm cheezed off over the PRICE of th' stuff, tho. :shocked:

No kidding, and am I the only one who thinks there's something insane about paying MORE to buy it pre-mixed, i.e. HALF as much actual antifreeze? Am I missing something about the "50/50"?

50/50 is a buck or two cheaper than 100%. Its just a convenience thing.

But by volume of <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">antifreeze</span></span> 50/50 is not cheaper. It's nearly TWICE as expensive!

I rememeber when that happened. All antifreeze in the store jumped to four time the current rate overnight. It really hasn't come down since and that was some twenty years ago.

Twas about the same time R12 went through the roof.
