"Riders on the Storm" by The Doors. Actually, The Best of The Doors album. Seems hard to imagine that the line "Girl we couldn't get much higher" caused so much flap with Ed Sullivan.

Also hard to imagine I bought all their recordings on LP vinyl when they first came out, too.

Seems like a lot of artists caused flap with Ed!....Elvis, the Beatles, the Doors...I always wondered about his relationship with Topo Gigo as well!

Listening to "Beatle Brunch", syndicated radio program - just about over now... :frown:

"Let's all get up and dance to a song that was a hit before your mother was born..."

a new geico ins. add sparked my interest in m.j.'s "thriller" album, unusual for me but fun. previous weeks have been reassociating myself with the likes of c.s.n.y. and the byrds, re-learning the guitar chords.

I got me a right nasty headache. Been listening to Kenny G
and soft jazz of late.

I sure do like The Doors.

Jools Holland - The Blasters - The Alan Brown Set - Colin James - Mos Def - The Commitments - BB King - Etc.

At this moment, "Magic Bus", by the Who, on finetune.com

"Now I got my magic bus..."

Some of my more political friends in the States sent
me a really cool, black, Faux News tee shirt.

I like to wear it when the Mrs forces me to take the
rubbish bins to the curb for collection!!

Oh my !! A train wreck in the makin' !!

The national pastime in Puerto Rico is yacking about politics. We ain't
got Pubs nor Dems. We got statehood (blue), colonial (red) and
independence (green) parties.

Not to worry, Dale - politics is the LAST thing I want to yak about when we're there!

AMEN, Brother!

Just got a "juke" cellphone as my upgrade with Verison, so Now it's loaded with a bunch of mish mash in its 2 gigs of MP3 space. It'd take me an hour to tell ya all that's on there. Everything from the Beatles to the Bellamy Brothers, to Eric Clapton to Monty Python to Hank Williams Sr.
Little bit of everything.....
