Why yes because there ain't no party like a busload of seniors on their way to Oberammergau. :D

Actually it was a truly memorable trip - it was September, unusually beautiful weather. The hotel is built into the hill that the town is on - so you enter the front door (at the back of the building) and take the elevator down to your room. I can still close my eyes and visualize sitting on a patio with Mrs JP, drinking Montreaux white wine and watching the sun set over lake Geneva while the ferries come and go. Then walking with the group to eat supper lakeside. (Internet pics)

Just got their CD "No More Hollywood Endings" outta th' mailbox fifteen minutes ago. 👍
 
So many of this group's songs bring make fond memories of bing a "yut."


 
 
Just last night listened to the Brothers Four, live. Sixty years of mostly the same tunes, yet they sang them as if they still new. My wife and I sang in a community choir group on two tunes: Five Hundre Miles and If I Had a Hammer. What fun.
 
She has the same stylist as Peggy Bundy.

One of my favourite songs from the 80's. Came on while I was driving home today - and the car radio says who/what is playing - all of which is to say that until today I didn't realize that Ronnie Spector sang the chorus.

In other news Ronnie Spector died last month.
