What are we recommending for a throw out bearing?

Your ahead of me. I did the cross drill but didn't add grease fittings, give them a squirt of oil when I remember. I did put new bushings in the bell housing which was easy. As I recall they were longer than the originals, maybe TR6.
 
Coming late to the party here, but never had trouble with the stock bearing on my old 4A in about 12 years of use including many as a daily driver. I reused the original sleeve and got a original style release bearing for the TR250 when I put the transmission back in last summer, so far so good.
 
That's good to know, thanks. I'm feeling much more reassured and can't wait to get it back on the road, good as ever...fingers crossed!
