OK, the car is stripped. As I was taking off the carpet/ tar underneath, I found a rubber plug covering a hole on the driver's side of the transmission hump at about 5 O'Clock from the gearshift. Also on the drivers side and right next to the gearshift lever hole, there was a rectangular hole about 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch that was not covered at all. Why are they there?

thanks
JP

If the 1500's are the same as the earlier cars the drivers side if for filling the transmission with oil and the passenger side is for bleeding the clutch.
