What!? another body measurement?

Well, looks like I need another measurement for the body guy. This one would be from the underside of the horizontal section of the rear bulkhead (the piece that has the access holes for the hinge nuts), vertically down to the top of the frame. This is for a BJ8, but I believe all 4 seaters will be the same. Here is a visual aid.

Thanks

Greg,

My gas tank is installed making it difficult to accurately measure to the top of the frame rail but I'm coming up with 19 3/4" when I combine the thickness of the tank (5") and the vertical dimension (14 3/4) I can measure. Maybe this will help when other figures roll in?

Cheers,
John

Greg, I won't be home until late this evening, but I'll give it a try then, my gas tank is also installed.

Dave

I get 14-5/8" from the top of the tank to the bottom of the rail. '66 BJ8. FWIW, My tank has never been removed, so whatever the factory put under it is still there.

Thanks everyone for taking the time. Hopefully I’ll have the energy next weekend to line things up. Wound up sleeping 13 hours on Saturday to catch up (only partially) from the last 2 weeks of work.
