While we were at the Triumphfest last Oct. The Victoria British People were walking around taking pictures of the TR's and their owner's. The photographer came up to me at the Infenion raceway (where some of the events were held). Had me stand by the car and asked me a couple of questions. He thanked me and walked on to the next Triumph owner, Well to my and my Wife's the VB catalog showed up with our TR3 and me on the cover.. VB sent along some extra cover sheet as a couple extra catalogs. The big suprise is that with almost 300 Triumph's at the event that our TR was one of the chosen for the cover. Our Tr is driven a lot and the restoration is 5 years old.
IMG_0703.jpg So when you get your VB catalog you know who is on the cover for spring.
P.S. signed copies are avaible for a small fee. LOL......

Congrats on the honor! Great looking photo of a great looking TR.

I'm very happy for you but curious at the same time.... Did VB not need your permision to put you and your car on the cover of their catalog?

Yes We all had to sign a waiver.

Great shot, I'm sure that was a nice surprise. Did they offer a discount on future orders?

Hi Dan,

"Very, Very Cool" Indeed!!!!!

I guess you can`t go anywhere in Cali & not be asked for an autograph!!!!

"Congrats"!!!

DK Why don't you just behave.:angel2:

Very cool Dan, congrats! The previous catalog had a Java green TR6 whose original owner is a member in my club here in Houston.

Dan
You deserve the accolades. For those of you who don't know what Dan went through to get a TR3a to this level, I urge you to go back in Dan's posts to see what he went through after his first can and nearly himself were nearly destroyed in a rear end collision.

Our cars are only 2025 apart in the comm. number. Very close on the assembly line.
The paint info is VW, Harvest Moon Beige PPG # 901461, DuPont # P4785 I hope this helps.
Paul, only half of the car was destroyed..........
