No, didn't bring a new old LBC home.

No, didn't do a car show and take a prize.

No, didn't do the monthly cruise and talk cars with all those muscle machine guys and street rodders.

Much simpler than that...met friends...in three LBCs (MGB, TR4, and my '73 Midget)...and drove for two hours on the back roads, leaves falling, chill in the air, tops down, and not a word said.

Oh, we did share a few war stories later as we warmed up at Jittery Joes, the local coffee emporium.

It really doesn't get much better...

Yes, stopped in for a short visit with Hap. You would think that with race season just over he would have some "spare time", but that is not the case. Looks like he has engine work that will take him well into next summer...a good "problem" to have. Glad mine is already on the schedule.

Today was just about perfect LBC weather down here!!! Love that cooler air. For the life of me I do not GET these Miata owners!!! PERFECT top-down weather (70* and 50% humidity!!)and they are all running around tops up and the AC on!!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazyeyes.gif
 
In the 70's here too...I parked my midget between a convertable BMW and a Miata...guess who was the only one with the top down! I just don't get it!
