what a cryin' shame

The gold painted trim is a bit

, but the colors (Mallard ext., Ochre int.) are at least correct for the model and year (though I've never liked the Ochre color, personally). The fender flares look like the old kit that used to be available-maybe still is?- to make MGB's and BGT's look like the MGC GTS race cars of the late sixties. Personally, I kinda liked the flares. The words "accident damage" frighten me off a bit, but if I was in the Salt Lake City area I'd be tempted to at least go look at the thing and see just how bad it is.

As far as it is from what I would do with my MGB-GT, I'd rather see that than see it rusting in a field, or even worse, headed for the crusher.
At least someone has enjoyed their MGB.

Stainless steel rocker covers? Bet we all know what's under those, don't we?

however, it's his car and he likes it that way. I don't like the gold trim myself, but I do like the flares, which are still available. In fact I'm thinking about them for my car

Ditto!!!

You’d think that with the amount of detail and cash involved in the engine & drive train, the person who dreamt this eyesore up in the first place could have done a better job with the bodywork.

Looks like one of those cheap plastic cars you’d find in the kiddies toy isle at the five & dime.

I think that's the ugliest MG I have ever seen...

Well, with an American chassis and running gear, you can't really call it an MG, especially as it seems that the only original MG parts remaining are the doors and the grill. Never been exposed to salt? Why do that to it then? The MGA was one of the prettiest cars ever to come out of anywhere, and to do this to it just goes to show how devoid of taste some people are.

One word – WHY!?!…

Oh well – let’s just hope that thing has been neutered. We don’t want something like that to start breeding.

here's some Spitfire/GT6s if you can take anymore. The first one is truly aweful! Check out that grill (from a big rig maybe?)

Example #1 looks like something from Junkyard Wars! That and all the rest are just plain tacky.

I sure am glad I have a strong stomach.
