At the time I bought mine the price was $14k give or take a bit.
This has been quite the ordeal. My 1st kit arrived damaged back in Jan. 2006 and it took months to sort out the liability and get a replacement. Then my engine builder took over a year to build me a powerplant. In between that I moved my shop from under a canvas carport in my side yard to a rented garage. There, I built an attic, installed a hoist and shelves, etc. Once the kit was moved in I removed all the sheet metal panels from the chassis and coated them with sound and heat proofing and then reinstalled. During this period I obtained and overhauled a Datsun gearbox, built and installed a Megajolt ignition system, built a luggage box to fit under the rear shell, built a duct system to vent hot air overboard from the radiator, built a 4 gallon extension for the fuel tank,replaced the MGB front calipers with 4-piston Toyota calipers and had a custom front anti-roll bar made after Westfield sent me 3 different bars that did not fit.

Meanwhile family obligations required that I begin to spend time in Tucson AZ where we rented a house in May of 2007. Since then there were only a few chances to work on the car until I moved my shop once again, this time to Tucson in Jan. 2009. Since then, I have made great progress and am about to wire up the kit. I made a lot of changes from the stock plans so things took much longer than a stock build.

executing a great plan! Keep us posted with new pics. I can't wait to see more.That rear end is sweet! The dash is
so well thought out. It's just amazing what you are doing.
