My Wife caught the story on the local news,about a Mother-
whale (& her offspring) that swam up the Klamath River,from
the Pacific Ocean,& decided that we should go see it.
We drove around (in the MGB GT),& watched the Mother-
Whale swimming up & down the river.We went to the bridge,on
highway 101,& were imformed that the calf had gone upstream,
but the Mother Whale couldn't navigate the shallower waters.
We observed the Mother Whale swimming in circles,in
agony of being seperated from her offspring.A very sad sight
to observe,but also a "once in a lifetime opportunity".
