I love me some Capri's
Next to the Cortina , my favorite car I had

I always liked Capri's and the variants.
Both the stock ones and lots of custom ones.

The first "new" car I ever bought was a 1974 Capri. It was metallic pea green with a black vinyl top. V6 with 4-speed on the floor and an 8-track player! It really was a great little car. I bought it while I was home (Aurora,CO) on leave after finishing SAGE system maintenance tech school in Biloxi, MS. I then drove it to my first permanent duty station at Malmstrom AFB MT.

I really wanted a Capri. In ‘71 (my first car) I asked the dealer to throw in the AM radio. He refused so I ended up buying a Ford Torino with the small 302 V-8. The day after I bought the Ford the Capri dealer called to say he would throw in the radio. Some things are not meant to be.

I had a '73 Capri 2000 that I bought from the original owner
for $500 in 1978.Body was near perfect,in that Orange/Red color.
It had 99,000 miles on it,& it needed a valve job.It had the V6 gauges,
rear defroster,& a sunroof.Great road car,but not a great autocross/-
hillclimb car.
