Well, the word is out....

heeeheeehaahaa!!!

Yeah, Doug, he'll toss th' Norton.... Right after Jerri.

NOT!

The only time that Norton leaves the garage is when I'm astradle it! My daughter told me I have to sell it before her soon-to-be born son starts looking at it...I told her she'd better keep her son out of my garage, in that case!

18 seconds? Seems somewhat excessively slow. My truck is about a 14 second 0 to 60 and the B before the rebirth was about the same if not ever so slightly faster although acceleration did drop off drastically past about 55 and going from 60 to 70 took forever.

I find the 0-60 is deceptive, too. I have a CB GT, so I guess I'm somewhere around 12 or 13 seconds, depending on the weather and the wind! The combination of the loud revs, the size of the car, and the fact that you have already covered a great distance in those 10-18 seconds at speeds less than 60 mph makes it feel like you are pulling faster, I think. I've never timed it myself. Why ruin the illusion! I have scared the crap out of friends with seriously faster cars cruising around residential neighborhoods barely breaking the speed limit. The other day, I got the head shake from a dog walker! I don't even think I was going the speed limit!
Oh yeah, the red B does look sharp, very clean. It looks great around the others, and surprisingly the TR7 coupe looks very pretty, too. I never see any on the road.

That’s horrible especially for an electric car. I got a ride in one of the EV1's and that car could shove you into the back of the seat if you floored it. To bad GM killed that one.

I'm going to have to grab a stop watch tomorrow and see what mine will actually do. If it’s not raining /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

oh man.... wow... LoL and he sounded exited about it! lol

I'm afraid to try and time my 0-60 times... choked with a ZS and not so great manifold system...

gah... I think we need to stop talking about this stuff... it's kidna depressin'

Thanks Tony. I fully agree with you on this point. What a beautiful sports car.

i really like your GT, what is the front lip spoiler?

The spoiler looks like a 1979-1980 MGB LE chin spoiler.

It looks a little short though.

i think it looks pretty good, at one point i had considered using the one that moss sells, but really never got to enthused about it.

Yeah, I think its the LE spoiler that may have been shortened by the PO to keep it from hitting curbs and so on. I've actually got an ST spoiler I'm putting on this month, I just like it a little better but I'll definitely keep the old one in case the ST gets destroyed over time. Thanks for the compliments!

I'm not a fan of spoilers under chrome bumpers but that one looks good.

Thanks-here's another pic-you can see a bit more of it and that it likely is the LE.

Yep, LE...but it doesn't accomplish much with that bumper blocking its intake

looks good, though

I love those driving lights... Too bad there's no way to make 'em look good on a RB car though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
