I finished up the frame last week. I made a slight mod to it and I hope it doesn't mess everything up.
I ended up having to replace both of the trailing arm sections and both t-shirts. Instead of the top t-shirt I used a piece of 1/8 inch plate and boxed in that part of the frame for the entire width.
Here were the sections before cutting them out. Oh and they were completely hollow. Someone had just welded on 1/4in plate on the back sides to strenghten them up.
New sections in place
Frame and suspension put back together. YOu can see the new plate in the pic.
So next week I work on the body.
